Join fabtic at its next open training course entitled Critical Reasoning and Perspective Taking for Working with Anti-Social Adolescent Firesetters.

This one-day CPD training course focuses on the application of moral dilemmas with young people, an approach found in many interventions such as The Ross Programme, Equip and Offending Is Not The Only Choice. The course includes an overview of the evidence base for this work, dilemma interventions and the practical application of this approach in the most appropriate way for engaging positively with young people.

The day will include the opportunity for delegates to rehearse and practice the application of these techniques, prior to using them in their direct work.

The course takes place on Thursday 28 January 2016 from 0930hrs to 1630hrs at The Priory Rooms, 40 Bull Street, Birmingham B4 6AF. The training is aimed at all professionals experienced in working with adolescent firesetters and other anti-social clients, bringing together a multi-disciplinary audience to share experiences and enhance learning.

This is the third in a series of four training days taking place across the UK in 2015-16, all of which explore the principles of effective working with anti-social teenagers and juvenile firesetters. Each of the four training days has a different content, devised by fabtic and colleagues at the Cognitive Centre.

Each certificated course costs £145+VAT per delegate and includes refreshments, lunch and all accompanying hand-outs.
