Resources
A common problem faced by frontline staff and managers working with children and teenagers who set fires is sourcing suitable resources to use in this work.
To meet this need, fabtic now produces resource packs for practitioners.
Every fabtic resource pack is carefully put together based on nearly two decades of frontline practice, trauma-informed approaches, child development theory, and what is known about the cognitive and behavioural skills required for pro-social competence. These include problem solving, social perspective-taking and creative thinking.
Each resource pack contains a range of books, items and activities that are suitable for direct work with children aged from 3 to 17 years. All the toys are sourced through reputable suppliers using small, independent firms wherever possible, and are safety certificated.
